Route Performance Review | Dogwood Hub Analytics

A quarterly retrospective comparing planned versus actual transit times on a lane you specify, with delay attribution by port and carrier segment.

When teams commission this review

Procurement departments renegotiating carrier contracts, logistics directors preparing board summaries, and export associations documenting corridor reliability for government liaison. The review answers whether delays are structural to a lane or tied to specific carriers and seasons.

Method

We compile your shipment list (minimum 20 movements recommended) against AIS-derived port timestamps and published schedule data. Each movement receives a transit-time variance score. Aggregated sections cover:

  • Port pair performance (e.g., Gwangyang–Rotterdam via Suez)
  • Carrier segment comparison where sample size allows
  • Delay cause distribution across the quarter

Deliverables

A written narrative of findings, appendix tables suitable for spreadsheet import, and a one-page executive summary with three actionable recommendations. Presentation to your team via video call can be arranged for an additional fee listed on the rates page.

Limitations

Reviews depend on the completeness of your shipment log. Missing gate-out or empty-return dates reduce attribution accuracy; we flag gaps rather than interpolate.
