We started in a small office on Suncheon-ro because exporters in Jeollanam-do kept asking the same question: why is my vessel still at anchor, and can someone put that on paper?

Dogwood Hub Analytics Co., Ltd. (registered trade name) has operated from Jeollanam-do since 2016. Lee Donghyun founded the firm after twelve years in freight forwarding documentation and port agency support, where he saw importers lose negotiating time because no one had charted the actual queue at Gwangyang.
How we grew
The first clients were citrus cooperatives near Yeosu who needed delay evidence for insurance filings. Word spread among Busan forwarders who wanted independent berth charts before calling carriers. By 2019 we added route performance reviews for manufacturers shipping machinery through Incheon. Today the team includes four analysts, one data reviewer, and a part-time terminal liaison who monitors published stevedore notices each morning.
What we do — and do not do
We prepare written briefings, charts, and recurring queue digests. We do not operate vessels, broker freight, or substitute for legal counsel in charter-party disputes. Our reports are meant to give your desk factual grounding.
Working approach
Every assignment begins with the vessels and dates you supply. We cross-check against AIS positions and terminal publications, then draft in plain English with numbered figures. Analysts sign off on each report before delivery. If a data source goes silent — which happens when terminals stop publishing queue lists — we say so in the document rather than fill gaps with guesses.
