Dogwood Hub Analytics Co., Ltd. ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, and your rights under applicable law including the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea.

Contact and briefing requests

When you submit our contact form, we may collect your name, email address, selected report type, vessel or shipment references, port or lane information, and message content.

Commissioned work

To prepare reports, clients may supply bills of lading references, container lists, voyage data, and correspondence related to shipments. We treat this as business data necessary to perform the service.

Website usage

If you accept analytics cookies, we collect aggregated usage information such as pages viewed and approximate region. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Technical data

Server logs may record IP address, browser type, and access time for security and troubleshooting.

3. How we use data

  • Prepare and deliver commissioned briefings
  • Issue invoices and maintain business records
  • Improve website content based on aggregated analytics where consented
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Legal bases

We process personal data based on contract performance (delivering requested reports), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, securing our website), consent (non-essential cookies), and legal obligations.

5. Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to twenty-four months unless a business relationship continues. Commissioned report source materials are retained for seven years for audit and dispute purposes unless you request earlier deletion and no legal hold applies. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for up to fourteen months.

6. Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with email hosting providers, cloud storage vendors, and accounting services bound by confidentiality obligations. Shipment identifiers in reports remain within deliverables shared only with the commissioning client unless you direct otherwise.

7. International transfers

Our primary systems are located in the Republic of Korea. If we use overseas infrastructure, we apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable Korean requirements.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data where applicable. 9. Security

We use access controls, encrypted transmission where supported, and staff training to protect data. No method of transmission is completely secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive credentials through the contact form.

Our services are directed to business users. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under eighteen.

11. Changes

We may update this policy by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date.
